7.13 MISC Settings

Auto Answer If checked, STFax will automatically answer the phone when it detects an incoming call. STFax will wait until the number of rings set in the modem preferences requester are detected.
Quiet Modem Selecting this, STFax will set the modem speaker off.
Silent Answer This will activate (if your modem support it) the Silent Answer feature, that means that STFax will answer only to fax or data calls, but it won't answer to voice calls, leaving your telephone ring.
Make Icons If checked, STFax will create an icon for the faxes it saves.
Close = Iconify If checked, the close gadget of STFax's main window will cause STFax to be iconified, not quitted.
Auto Print If checked, STFax will automatically print the incoming faxes.
Buttons Type Select the different style of buttons for your button bar on the main window. The choices are graphics, graphics and text and text only.
Mode You have four options: FAX/DATA, ONLY FAX, VOICE/FAX and VOICE ONLY. In the first mode, STFax will spawn the external program set in the External programs requester when a data call is detected and the mini-bbs is not active.
Instead, in the ONLY FAX mode, STFax will send out the text saved in the file STFax:Data/NoData.txt when a data call is detected and then it will hang up. If the file doesn't exists, it will only hang up.
The third mode is the same as the first, but STFax will also handle incoming voice calls.
In VOICE ONLY mode STFax will work only as a speakerphone: if Auto Answer is on, STFax will answer automatically to incoming calls and you'll be able to talk via your headset.

Refuse data call text Press this to edit the text that will be displayed to refuse data calls in the ONLY FAX mode.
Log Here you can set the logging level. Higher the level is, more the informations put in the log file (STFax:STFax.log) are.
NOTE: "Debug" level is the highest and if you have troubles with STFax, you should send me the log produced with this level along with your bug report.

Answer Hook STFax can launch an external ARexx script after a fax is received. Thus you can automatically print your faxes with the included fax2ps command or have an ARexx script that forwards them via EMail over internet or a local intranet
Expire after (days) Number of days after which STFax will delete the Stored faxes from the list
Voice messages max Maximum amount of seconds for a message (recorded locally)
